Book Review: A Must Have!!!

This book is absolutely beautiful! I had looked at this book on several different sites before I purchased it, and no where did I see a description that did it justice. The illustrations are gorgeous - my daughter and I could look at them for hours! The book itself is printed on thicker, high quality glossy paper. The story is excellent - a very clear presentation of the Gospel. My copy came with a cd - I'm not sure if all copies do. The cd is wonderful as well. There are two readers, a man and a woman, and it's nice that they switch back and forth while reading so as to hold our attention. There is also a song in between each chapter (the same song) which my daughter was always delighted to hear. I want to read this book again and again and give it to everyone I know who has children! My only word of caution would be to be a little careful as it does discuss some of the "scarier" parts of the Bible - the fall of Lucifer, the Lake of Fire, the Second Death. But, having said that, it also provides comfort as it shows Jesus as the One who took our sins so we could live "with a perfect God in His perfect Home." You know your child. If you think your child would be a little too young yet, I would purchase the book, and keep it on hand for when they are ready. My daughter is 4 1/2 and loved it and wasn't scared a bit. Her two year old sister also listened to the cd's and she was fine, but I could see how a child could get scared, so I just wanted to put that on here. If you are thinking about buying this book, do it now! It will become an heirloom that you will save for your children's children to read as well!
