4th Outing for Ms Mina Harker and the League...
Well after a gross disappointment that was the Black Dosssier, I had (only slightly) higher hopes for 1910.
Disappointed then??? Well, honestly, yes!
After a great build up in the story, with a brilliant logical evolution of the League, the ending should have paid dividends! Instead, there is a damp squab of an ending. Logical and well thought out, but no sense of awe, wonder or the 'Grandiose' one felt in the 1st two League novels.
I felt as though Mr Moore has sold us almost as short as in Black Dossier.
Great characters, a wonderful pedigree, but misses the mark big time again. (Just my opinion!!!) With so much he could have written, this felt padded and lacklustre.
Wonderfull artwork through-out though!!!
However I will NOT buy the next one, sight unseen!

The above review should have clearly stated that this is a part work.
My comments were supposed to be based on that very fact, a serious ommision on my part.
I have every piece written by Alan Moore, I adore his work, passion and thankless task of bringing the graphic art form to were it deserves to be today.
The fact I didn't enjoy 'Black Dossier' probably unfairly coloured THIS review. Also I 'dashed' off the review after only one reading, which was fundamentaly wrong and unfair!
