Sorry, but this book does not even come close to the classic Time and Again. First of all, it is very repetitious. Does Selden Edwards think that we need to be given the same information over and over again? I won't cite examples because I hate too many spoilers, but if you do read this book, you will see what I mean. Also, the underlying conceit that the characters all meet very famous people of the period wears thin after awhile,especially since all the famous folk are all dutifully impressed by the fictional characters, who are obviously creations of the author rather than anything approaching real human beings. Further, the dialogue is trite. And most important, the time travel is never explained "rationally." How and why it happens remains a mystery. Don't waste your money on this.
