Summary: 4 Stars

This book is a good one for grades 1-4. I recently told this story to a 4th grade class for school and they really got into it. I would recommend this book for your little tyke. It is a fun and interactive book with a Halloween twist. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did and spread it around so everyone's kids can have a fun time.

Book Review: A FUN BOOK TO READ WITH THE KIDS. NICE ILLUSTRATIONS
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a delightfully simple story about a little old lady without fear, or so she thinks. I like using this one in class to explain the logic of fear and just how silly most of our fears are and how they sort of go away in we confront them. The little old lady, as she walks in the wood in confronted with various articles of clothing that move and talk on their own an is finally brought face to face with a talking pumpkin. While the lady does depart for home rather quickly, you get the feeling that there is no real fear, but rather a an urgent need to be on familiar ground. The text is quite simple, yet is written in such a way that it will keep the attention of a single child, or even better, an entire class room It is a great Halloween story. The illustrations are absolutely great., quite whimsical. Overall, I quite like this work and do highly recommend it.
