Book Reviews of The Lord of the Rings: 50th Anniversary, One Vol. EditionBook Review: Awesome Summary: 5 StarsI loved this book, it took me a while to read (two weeks I think) I am glad I did though, I actually started it like 5 minutes after finishing The Hobbit. Thats the way to read it too, because The Hobbit sheds so much light on LOTR that it feels like its part of LOTR and in my opinion it really is since the events of the LOTR are directly caused by certain events in The Hobbit. Read them both...
Book Review: Great version, very few mistakes! Summary: 5 StarsA clean version that puts the adventures of Middle Earth all in one place for a low price! When I lost (loaned and never returned) my old copies of the LOTR I started looking around for a version that presented all six books together without annoying spelling and editorial mistakes. This version was great, don't waste your money on other versions. Unless you can afford the leather bound versions, I've heard they are excellent.
Book Review: Gross Summary: 1 StarsNo one in this book showers or shaves. I couldnt read this book because hobbits and all those other stupid things were reeking up my room with their grody smells. N I still dont know what a hobbit is. The only thing I could figure is that this JRR Tollkein ripped off JK Rowling (shes way better 2!. Go Hogwarts!.). N I didnt understand what was going on because Tollkein kept using words that I dont know, thats not fair. THAT IS NOT OKAY. What a elitist. Someone should send this back to him and say, "write anything but this". I dont see how anyone likes this doorstop. Hmmm, what do elfs, dwarfs, dragons, and trolls all have in common? Oh yeah: there not real. That's just silly. How the heck am I supposed to care about things that don't even exist?. This book should be retittled "Stupid Long Book for Geeks", because thats who its for. Boring, silly, ripped-off, and heavy, LOTR is a yawnfest in Frodo-land. And everyone's dirty.
***And to all the haters wasting there time putting negative comments on this review, your just mad because you dont have any girlfriends. If you came to my high school wed all laugh at you.
Book Review: interesting Summary: 4 Starsafter watching the movie decided to read the book... it is kind of interesting....
Book Review: Great Summary: 5 StarsThis is a beautiful, 1-volume copy of the LOTR books. A good size and good heft (not a small copy that is too hard to read).
