I loved the book I stated reading it after I seen the movie I thought it was going to be the same but it suprised me. The Lost World is actioned packed, it says it on the cover it's funny my brother couldn't stop reading the second to the last chopter he wants to buy the book.Book Review: "Dinosaurs don't scare me!" and nither did this.

After one of the most scarest books written, this sequel to Jurassic Park is some what of a let down. Didn't scare me at all. Way, way, way too plotty. Too much destription that was not needed. Original was better. Had more imagination than this. Still, if you want to try to enjoy it, go ahead. But too bland for my tastes.Book Review: "If you loved Jurassic park, you'll enjoy "The Lost World."

To begin with, what this book does wrong is that it brings Ian Malcom back from the dead. He died in the original "Park," now he says, "Only half-dead." Chrichton was banking on this book being made into a movie, so he just wishy-washed his way through it. At times it is exciting and terrorifying, but more often than not disappointing.Book Review: "The Lost World is a smashing success."

This book gets you hooked on from the start to the finish. You'll never want to put it down once you have started. Michael Chrichton does a fantastic job of packing this book with non-stop action. The settings of this book are the same as Jurrasic Park. Even the characters are almost similar. This book might sound like "boring" but once you started you will not put it down! I can't wait till the movie comes out
