Book Reviews of The Magic CircleBook Review: BEST BOOK I EVER READ! Summary: 5 Stars
This book has something for everyone. No kidding. Handsome heroes, Indian lore, world mythology, nuclear espionage, and adventure, adventure, adventure! What I like best about Katherine Neville's books is that the female characters always get to participate in as much action, fun and suspense as the males do!
Book Review: BEST! Summary: 5 Stars
The Magic Circle is one of the best books I have ever read. My husband agrees. He thinks that if she could turn out books like this a little faster she'd be twice as big as John Grisham.
Book Review: Best book! Great summer reading Summary: 5 Stars
The Magic Circle is quite possibly the best book I have ever read. Personally, I found it even better than Eight... - Yes folks, I had my doubts too, I did not think it possible at first, but its true. Treat yourself to this rare intellectual satisfaction.
Book Review: Best of all... Summary: 5 Stars
This is an ambitious and extraordinary work. For me, this succeeds where The Eight did not. Certainly, there is much to keep track of on a logical, linear level. Fascinating family tree and history. Thought provoking connections through time, some of which are familiar. But I feel that certain reviews miss the point. There is a whole other non-logical experience available here. While I read with avid interest, found myself not wanting to put the book down, and thoroughly enjoyed the "adventure", I also found myself delighted by the awareness and knowledge of the writer. What she did for me,apart from entertain, was to make me think in ways that I enjoy, and the ending "The Dance",was so delightful, so joyful, so hopeful, that I intend to read it from time to time so that I can be delighted whenever I wish. Katherine Neville is one knowledgeable, intelligent and very aware human being. Her work is not without flaws, but I love what she does, and hope there is another book on the way very soon. I highly recommend this one in the meantime, but look for more than just one level of story.
Book Review: Better than chocolate! Summary: 5 Stars
I'm a single mom, full time student, and lifelong reader of good books. I think Katherine Neville's books are some of the most exciting and intriguing books written today, and I read a lot of books. Thanks to "The Eight", I am learning to play chess, and teaching my six year old son, too, and now after just finishing "The Magic Circle", I have all sorts of ideas for my upcoming Archaeology papers. I live in Utah, and thought it quite amazing that she incorporated Salt Lake City into the book. I really look forward to more books of hers, and will spend the time waiting by rereading the ones I have. I always seem to find something new I missed the first few times I read them. They are better than chocolate.
