MC Escher has become one of those artists who has become a part of popular culture. His work appears on T-shirts and posters. His work has even appeared in a Simpsons episode. This book will take you back to the artist and his work,and will illustrate just how unique and before-his-time Escher was. His use of mathematical formulas and his preparatory sketch work are touched on here. There are numerous crystal-clear reproductions of his most well- known works,as well as lesser known early work,while he was still finding his own style.
An excellent book if you are an admirer of this artist.
