Book Review: Mesmerizing for kids

My kids (ages 7 and 5) love the Magic Tree House books. This audio CD was a livesaver on a long roadtrip. I had to keep looking back because I thought my kids had fallen asleep since they were so quiet. We had an amazingly peaceful car ride since they were so intent on listening to the stories. After the car trip, they kids have routinely asked to listen to the stories over again many times never seeming to be bored of them. A great investment!Book Review: Superb on trips!

I purchased this product for my 7 yr old grandson b/c of a review in some magazine. After reading the Amazon reviews, I was sold and thought it might be a good change from DVD's constantly, and it might improve his listening skills. He and his 4 yr old sister both love the stories, and I will definitely buy some more books on cd in the future. Let's face it, there is so much to choose from today, I would find it almost impossible to make good choices w/o some input.Book Review: Lifesaver on Long Road Trips

I bought these for my almost four-year-old for a nine-hour road trip. Not once did I hear "When will we be there"! She couldn't stop listening. We have also checked out the books from the library and she loves having us read them to her, although there aren't many pictures. The CD can keep her occupied for hours even without the books. I wouldn't have thought that a child so young could enjoy these so much, but clearly I was wrong.
