I am 7 years old. I listen to my Magic Tree House CDs all the time: before going to bed, on roadtrips, on airplanes (with my MP3 player)... I love them!!!!! I listen to them with my friends... I know them by heart! Book Review: great collection!

My 7-year-old loves audiobooks, and this collection definetly stands appart from the others. She can listen to the stories over and over again. The narration is quite simple, but nice. No big sound effects are needed to keep the interest. It is just like having someone reading to you...and doing a great job at it.
I love the educational part of the stories: kids learn about different times and places, and are indirectly encoraged to learn more about the different epochs they "visit" through the stories.
One more thing worth saying: this collection is WAY better than Junie B.

My boys are 4, 2 and 1 and all three of them love these stories. We listen to them in the car and at bedtime. Some of the stories are split between 2 cd's, which was tough at night, so I burned each story onto seperate cd's for bedtime. We've had them for 6 months and still listen to them all of the time. The children love these books and so we were all surprised that the recorded version was flat. I purchased the set for a "road trip"; it just didn't hold the children's interest. So strange. Book Review: Magic Tree House
