Book Review: A light touch on LOTR but a nice attempt

The book scratches the surface of here and there but I don't blame the author, the LOTR is much deeper than the Harry Potter series. The Middle Earth is actually not that "magical"; and unlike the Harry Potter series, there aren't too many Greek, Roman, Indian, British, Irish myths and folklores to talk about.Nevertheless, this is a good resource to know a little more about the important literature (Beowulf) and Mr Tolkien's philosophy and beliefs that shaped the Middle Earth saga.
