Book Review: A Humble Knight!

James Galway was awarded the OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) before being award Knight Bachelor of the British Empire for his services to music which is pretty good for a flutist that most people haven't heard. A Charming, humble musician and artist writes about his life which is pretty interesting but don't expect a gentleman to tell sordid details or gossip about others. This book is a worth autobiography and would make a great gift for any musical fan. Sir James Galway OBE is a gentleman and opens up his book about being knighted by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, with his loving wife and travelling companion, son, and daughter in London, England. Surprisingly, Sir James and his family live in Switzerland. Not bad for a boy from Belfast, Northern Ireland! Sir James' music is classical, traditional, and charming to listen too. I have some of his compact discs. I wouldn't mind inviting him and his wife for dinner. The book is an easy and delightful read as well.
My only complaint is that he doesn't mention his OBE which he received before his knighthood. It's sounds crazy but I was hoping that he would have mentioned this honor but he didn't in the book. Maybe it's just an oversight but I would liked to have known when he received it and that point in his career.
