Book Reviews of The Manual: A True Bad Boy Explains How Men Think, Date, and Mate--and What Women Can Do to Come Out on Top

Book Review: The manual review
Summary: 3 Stars

This book had a lot of humorous things said. I found this book to be easy reading, and informitative to some degree. There is a big differnce between how men use their brain, and how woman use their's. The bigest thing between the sex's is lack of communication. Men need to be more specific about what they are saying. This manual mentions these things. I do believe most woman will find this Manual of interest.

Book Review: Male Ego Alert
Summary: 3 Stars

The good and bad thing about this book is that it's written in a distinctly male voice--with the attitude to match. It's good because reading The Manual feels like there's really a dude in front of you explaining how guys operate. It's bad because the tone tends to be standoffish and egotistic.

I am aware that this is how a lot of guys are, but I'd like to think that women may find it easier to grasp the book's contents if the tone were just a bit more neutral.

Then again, Santagati stresses the "bad boy" archetype, so no generalizations are made. So to the women, if you can't take ego, then you have to be one with the universe while reading this book.

Book Review: Funny and true
Summary: 4 Stars

A great insight on how things really work for girls trying to figure it all out, and a fun read at the same time.

Book Review: At the beginning ok, but got bore at the 60%
Summary: 3 Stars

I got this books because I read a comment is a magazine, I thought will be funny. It was funny by after the 50% you can tell that the concepts y repeated once and once. So do no think you are going to learn something or you are going to fine something interesting here, but if is just for fun have a good travel.

Book Review: The Ugly, Brutal Truth--Helps You Understand the War of Sexes!
Summary: 5 Stars

Although there is much to recommend this book, the overwhelming tone truly unscores why there is a war between the sexes. Yes, men are motivated by the visual--but, aren't there some men somewhere who are not so superficial? Sure, women (and everyone else!)needs to be thoughtful about our appearance because it speaks volumes about our mental status.
Additionally, the idea that we want to "cage" a bad boy because our lives would be enriched by his exciting, high energy personality if we are not on constant lookout for his natural tendency to "wander". I don't know about a "bad boy"--give me a home style geek anytime.
