If this happens to you time and time again, you need this book. It's got everything. Well, maybe no everythingt, but it has a lot. Firstly, it's got total coverage of the first 6 seasons of MST3K (which we'll never see because the TV stations in this country issue a restraining order every time you ask them to show the program with the puppets and bad movies. I have 3 so far, one from channel 5, one from the Paramount Comedy Channel, and one from Safeways - which I know isn't technically a TV station but I was drunk at the time. I originally went in to buy a pack of chewing gum, and somehow ended up trying to assault the manager with a half empty box of corn flakes). It also has many pictures, which is a huge plus if you can't read (I'll avoid the obvious joke of not being able to read this review because it's a very lame joke).

The book also contains many little tidbits of information about some of the more obscure references from the show, as well as coverage from the live MST shows and the amazing MST3K: The Movie (which lasted 20 minutes less than a regular episode).

The only gripe I have with this book is that it doesn't cover the 4th season's episode, "Manos: Hands Of Fate" in nearly enough detail. This was the most horrible movie I have seen yet, and it deserved at least 6 pages (front and back) to convey just a fraction of the horribleness.

Joking aside, this is a brilliant book, with the humour of the show nicely duplicated in the text. Whether you've only seen the few episodes on UK TV, or you're an addicted fan with a huge stash of ... acquired episodes (like me) I suggest you get this book. After all, it does have nice pictures. Very nice. Oh yes.

I'm going back to my box now.
