Well, before I got the book I already knew it was going to be a more serious type of book then you would think it is. It looks like it would be a fun book, something to breeze through. Its not all dark and wicked, but its darker then it appears.
For about the first half of the book, I was pretty into it. Then it got almost messy is the word comming to mind. Everything just started to go all over the place, and then back to that same place. The two main characters did not have a good love story once all was said and done. We did not see them grow or change ro do anything but keep jumping back to trying be nothing. It was getting ridicilous. I figured out who told the "tale" of those two pretty much after it happened. And the "bad" guy was the most laughable bad guy i have ever met. He was not "bad" at all. He was stupid and a wimp and just nuts. He wasnt scary, he was stupid.
The aunts were kinda amusing and Lizzie was ok for the short amount of time she spends in the book. But I didnt find much to recommend this book to others. It wasnt a total disaster, but thought it was pretty bad. Read at your own risk.
