Book Review: A genuine, original, masterpiece

Forget the cruddy film version of a view years back and read this. It's pure genius. Don't think it's just for children either. I guarantee you'll love this book whatever age you are. It's one of the most unputdownable books I've ever read. The story is about a boy, Bastian, who steals a mysterious book from a mysterious bookshop and hides in the school attic to read it. Strange things start to happen to him as he reads - it's as if the characters are calling out to him... Then suddenly he steps through the pages and into Fantastica. This is not a rip off of the Chronicles of Narnia or anything else - it's a beautifully told genuine, original masterpiece. I urge you to read it.
