Book Review: A Decent Collection of Police Stories
Summary: 3 Stars
This book didn't quite live up to my expectations--maybe because it's so real and less like the movies since the author was an LAPD officer. It's basically a collection of police stories from the LAPD of the 1960s. There are some really interesting stories and some that are pretty slow. There were also some profound insights into what it is like to be a police officer. If you like this genre, you will probably find this book reasonably entertaining--otherwise you may want to take a pass.
