Book Reviews of The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding : The Bible of Bodybuilding, Fully Updated and RevisedBook Review: Offers a complete guide to sensible training techniques Summary: 5 StarsAlthough it was very interesting to read and see the history and history-makers of bodybuilding, the best feature of this book are the training sections. There are chapters that focus on each body part, showing you pictures, explaining the proper forms, and the best methods for targeting that body part. It is a great teaching book or refresher course for any level of bodybuilder. The nutrition section with sample diets was helpful as well as the section on recommended and non-recommended supplements. My only complaint would be that it could have used some of the current outstanding women bodybuilders as examples in the book, using both pictures of them and their training techniques. Great book overall.
Book Review: A good introduction to bodybuilding Summary: 4 StarsThis is a good introductory book to bodybuilding. The photographs and descriptions of excercises are good. The routines are not applicable to drug-free bodybuilders, because they cannot recover from the workload prescribed. Read the book, absorb the philosophy, and customize the routines to fit your needs.
Book Review: great book has a lot of useful information Summary: 5 StarsThis book has all the information you need to stay in shape. It tells you about your self and what is the bet way for you personally to get in shape. This book can motivate you to get up and start to improve your physical health
Book Review: Good for beginners Summary: 5 StarsI just started lifting two months ago and wasted a lot of money on other books. This book is the most comprehensive out there. The gains I've seen following Arnold's advice have been amazing.
Book Review: Buy it if you don't have the first one! Summary: 3 StarsDefinetely not worth the $ if you have the first edition. The info is outdated and will lead to serious overtraining(unless you use anabolics). The pics are great, however, and so are the history of BB chapters.
