Book Review: An alternative point of view

Can I give it less than 1 star? After reading Ende's Neverending Story I was eager to read Night of Wishes. Unfortunately, this novel suffers greatly in translation and lacked the charm and inventiveness of Story. The word play and potion descriptions were contrived and proved tiresome. I was greatly disappointed that A Night of Wishes amounted to an evening wasted.
