Book Review: Book v. Flim - film a clear winner!!! Summary: 2 StarsRarely does it happen that I find myself disappointed when I read a book after watching the film. This, unfortunately, is one of those occasions. I found myself mesmerised by the characters in the film but the book lacked sparkle and detail. What a shame - I had been looking forward to reading it for ages!!!!
Book Review: different - but enjoyable! Summary: 4 Starsafter just finishing reading the notebook, i felt the need to review it! a story that makes you think about life, love and happiness, and creates a true belief in the concept of soulmates. Nicholas Sparks writes like he is guided by a muse, the words are beautiful. however, having seen the film first, i was surprised at how different they are, and i believe the films ending is more inspired than the books ending.
