Book Review: Chili Review
Summary: 2 Stars
In the book a character named Simon finally gives up his peanut butter to sit at the nut free table. The problem is he adds a new food to his list of what he will eat - Chili. In the real world chili is a suspect food that may contain peanut butter as a thickening agent (obviously if Simon's mom made the chili at home one could easily find out the ingredients), reading this book to a 5 or 6 year old could give them the impression that chili is OK to eat, when in reality it may or may not be. I, as a parent of a kid who has nut allergies, am not willing to take that chance.
