Book Reviews of The Phantom's Opera (Sadie Montgomery's Phoenix of the Opera Series)Book Review: More Megerik wh00t! Summary: 5 Stars
In this the third installment of the Phoenix Of The Opera Story, tragedy strikes, an estrangement occurs because of some interloper conniving and taking advantage of an ill person.
Old friends Raoul and Christine are called in to help Meg and Erik.
Recreating an Opera written by the Phantom long ago has it's desired effect.
Of course that is not before you witness pain, heartache, longing and angst that will nearly burst your heart in two, but will not allow you to stop turning the pages.
A haunting like occurrence happens and just when you think all is lost,
The strength of an eternal love conquers all and a happy family is made.
Two more children enter the picture in Erik and Meg's life one by birth, one by adoption.
No difference in love exists between the two biological children and the adopted child. All know loving parents and a loving grandmere in Madame Giry.
Christine and Raoul's family also increases and the children all have the relationship of cousins as Meg and Christine forever remain sisters and best friends.
The story ends with Meg making a very sexy appearance to her husband that gives you trust in their love. However you hear there is another book coming so you shall want it as well.
Like the two books in the series before this one. I highly recommend it and hope you can experience the love that only Megerik *my combined name for Meg and Erik* can bring. If you miss this you'll wish you had not.

Book Review: Outstanding continuation of Erik's story! Summary: 5 Stars
I finished "The Phantom's Opera" and all I can say is that Ms. Montgomery has done it again!! "The Phantom's Opera" is the third installment of this four book continuation of the Phantom's journey from the Paris Opera House, and I feel it is the best one yet. The characters remain faithful to our beloved Phantom of the Opera story. The Phantom - now called Erik - remains fiercely loyal to those he loves, a ferocious enemy to those who would do harm to those loved ones and he is still a force to be reckoned with - except around his children where he has finally allowed his soft side! There are times in the story where Erik actually allows himself to become vulnerable, but not for long! Meg is still her strong, steadfast, loving self. In the movie Raoul was heroic in his own way, and I love the direction in which Ms. Montgomery has taken his character and expanded Raoul's relationship with Erik. Even Christine has grown up and I like her now. The book took a a couple of turns I did not expect, first into madness then into the paranormal. But the story is a truly stunning example of love conquering all. I loved this book and can't wait for the conclusion of the story, "Phantom Death" (great title!). Bravo Sadie Montgomery!! (I'd give it 6 stars if they'd let me!)
Book Review: Phantom is Addictive Reading Summary: 4 Stars
I loved the Phantom of the Opera movie and I feel that Sadie Montgomery's book closely follows the tone and imagery I would have if I had read the movie screenplay starring Gerard Butler. The phantom characteristics of seductive darkness and sexy duality of strong yet repentant villain/misunderstood victim of an abusive history really pull you into the plot. There is plenty of action in the book and personal character development to keep things moving, and I found myself unable to put the book down and eager to read the sequels as quickly as possible. It was nice to have the image of the piercing eyes of Gerard Butler constantly described and his amazing body finally finding some sexual tension and release--plenty of surprises and twists. Highly recommended reading for the romantic woman who enjoys the tragic love stories...
Book Review: Sadie Continues To Enthrall Summary: 5 Stars
Sadie has once again created a wonderful story in her third book
The Phantom's Opera. I think she is a very elegant and comprehensive
writer and has a great imagination, sympathy and understanding of the story of The Phantom Of The Opera. I love how she incorporates the phantom's past into the present stories, reliving scenes and leaves nothing unturned.
Her books are a wonderful extension of the original storyline, based on the magnificent film version and her stories are the most entertaining and sophisticated of them all. I cannot wait for the fourth book in the series, i really enjoy them.

Book Review: The Phantom Continues to create Summary: 5 Stars
To be given another chance to create and do what he loves the most it wonderful. As the Phantom slowly comes out of his shell and cocoon, you can picture this man without his mask, you can see him creating from his heart and you can share his sorrows and his joys. I have enjoyed these books and thank the author for going beyond the monster he was portrayed to be.
