Book Review: shame to open it up
Summary: 4 Stars
Wrapped in a faux Polaroid film wrapping, the production quality is good. A mixed bag of images, but with 287, you'll like some at least! Contains the dullest Elliot Erwitt photo I've every seen! (Which reminds me, buy Erwitts Snaps book, probably the best book ever). Disappointed the back section isn't a comprehensive list of all polaroids, ending it's list in 1978. I wish photographic books wouldn't do double spreads, as the central section of an image is unreadable, 'lost in the folds'. The fact this book is £15 on Amazon makes it a real bargain, any photography fan will like it. Goodbye Polaroid, digital was the way to go, but your expensive instant prints will be missed! A 7 out of 10 book, but cost wise it's more than worth it. Buy it. Now.
