Book Review: A Best Bedtime Stories Book!
Summary: 5 Stars
Jeff Brumbeau's book, with beautiful illustrations by Gail De Marcken, is already a timeless treasure on my daughter's bookshelf. It is sure to be a children's classic. I have personally given this book many times as a present to new parents and to children between the ages of 3 and 8. It is fun to look at and delightful to read to a child as a bedtime story. It is one of my nine year old's favorite stories; we even used the quilt patterns as the basis for a math lesson. The sequel The Quiltmaker's Journeyis just as good!
