The Razor Edge Book of Sharpening Is a book by an acknowledged expert John Juranitch on how to sharpen just about everything, from a pocket knife to an ice auger. Most people will be like me and prefer a more detailed instruction on various knives rather than more vague instructions on how to sharpen everything under the sun.
The book also goes into some detail about the process that the author and his company took to obtain their knowledge. This might be too much information for many as well, but I will say that I read the whole book once and many relevant passages many times. I have been ever since, the go to guy for my friends and family and associates on knife sharpening. Of course it may just be that they are lazy and I will do it for just about anyone that asks, but my knives are all very sharp.
I wish that Amazon offered the products that the author has designed, because that is the real secret to going from inept to expert sharpener. There is still a knack to it, but after you get it, sharpening becomes very easy.
