Book Review: I Don't Agree with Everything but This Book is Provocative

Dr. Pearl is a great writer, funny, and I hope he'll be writing more soon. I'm a Reiki master and for the most part, so far, it looks and feels like Reiki to me. Many of his views on energy, healing, rituals I tend to agree with. I don't think one has to have their hands exactly on something for healing to occur. I'm not sure if I agree that reconnection is bigger and better than any other energy. Reiki, for instance, is Universal Energy therefore it encompasses all. Reconnection is evolving so that makes it better? Reiki transcends time also. I was put off by the idea that group energies dilute this new energy that is so intense that a wall couldn't stop it. You have to be a reconnection groupie or you just can't help. People are channels. The energy doesn't care. I don't understand how anyone can not be already connected to the ley lines of the earth since we're all attached to it by gravity. Has anyone seen a 12 strand DNA yet?
I've been practicing the exercises and not attaching to previous practices. I feel about the same "buzz" in my hands so far. Dr. Pearl has reinforced my Reiki, definitely. Supposingly, I've been "activated" just by reading the book. I'm open to that. So if I start getting the results that Dr. Pearl has, I'll let you all know. Borrow the book from your library. It is definitely worth the read and a try.
Book Review: I can't stop laughing

This is the most magical and outstanding book I have ever read. Actually, it is not a book, but a parallel universe. When I start reading it, I was obsessed with fears of illness, constantly worried about my heart, prostate and so on. The more I worried, I felt worse. So I began to read and at one point I found myself unable to stop laughing.I laughed so hard that tears were streaming down my face. I realized it was the energy flowing and that I was healed of my obsessions. What I mean - like others reviewers - is that this book has power in itself. It reconnects! Get it today.
My Catholic education has filled me with fears about God and the supernatural. I was always waiting for a lightning fell upon me to punish me for my sins. Eric Pearl's book is changing my beliefs.
Book Review: Insightful Glimpse into Dynamic Healing

I was drawn to this title as I have a strong interest in healing. Many of the experiences the author mentions may sound weird, however just because something is unknown to us, doesn't necessarily mean it is weird. It is simply unusual and not common knowledge. It is strange, yet interesting. I have encountered similar experiences with body work, both personally and I've seen clients have radical experiences and unusual reactions. (I use the Body Stress Release Technique -my teachers were also ex-chiropractors). With my particular work, you hardly touch your client (they are fully clothed) and yet the results can be profound. I always thought the nervous system caused the release of stress/pain/trauma, but after reading this book it makes sense to me that it goes deeper than just a physical release, it is an energetic reaction or shift in energy. It is difficult to understand dynamic healing, but this book helped me better understand the miracle of self-healing. It takes sensitivity and intuition to "touch" the energy system of body, mind, and spirit. I still don't fully understand the language of the human energy system, but this book helped me realise that the "language" exists. I read Dr Pearl's autobiography - The Reconnection - Heal Others, Heal Yourself in one day and found it awe inspiring.Book Review: Interesting

I do feel the healing energy of the book. It's interesting that just by reading it, it seems to transmit energy (I've noticed physical changes I've been trying to manifest) but I only wish, this book and the story of how Dr. Pearl started doing healings was a lot more... shall we say... entertaining and engrossing. Instead, this reads like an autobiography that starts from even before he was born in the hospital to his evolution from skeptic to healer. Nothing too exciting--for me anyway.
As for activating your DNA, you may like to try a how to book like Go Up and Seek God: 12-Strand DNA Technique for Healing and Enlightenment and ThetaHealing.

The Reconnection
I have purchase this book "The Reconnection by Dr. Eric Pearl, I started reading the first few pages and then a few more in the back... later on in the night as I was sleeping the weirdest thing happened to me which was frightening... I felt like I was really tired and my body was heavy like I felt some presence on my bed, I was completely motionless but I can hear my self breathing, I was aware of my body being frozen and I started to hear this buzzing sound, kinda like trying to locate a radio station frequency and its starts getting louder and then I heard a voice but the frequency wasn't clear as I was still hearing the loud buzzing sound - this is scary and frightening.
Ok here is something worth saying: As I continued to read the book and trying to feel the energy, the same night I went to sleep, as I was saying my prayers, I was in the state of falling asleep but still aware, I heard my self saying" We are here for you" loud and clear in my head, this was unbelieable, I opened my eyes and try to make sense out of this, as you know I was a sceptic in the begining.
