Book Reviews of The S Factor: Strip Workouts for Every WomanBook Review: Worth Every Penny! Summary: 5 StarsThis is a great book. Sheila has outdone herself with this. I am a wife, I am also a mother of 4. Very rarely do I feel I am a woman who is worthwhile, appealing and desirable. This really has helped me find the woman who sometimes gets lost in the shuffle. I recommend also that you get a good yoga tape to help you learn to stretch etc. And if you really like the book, later you can get her video.
Book Review: FEEL Like a Woman, Have FUN, Get Fit, YES YES YES! Summary: 5 StarsThis idea, of being sensous and sexy while working out is great and liberating. I have found the best way to make a habit out of exercise is to make it REALLY enjoyable. I recommend you look into this idea with this book and others like it. Also, to really rev up your life in general, your "power," in all areas, but definitely sensous powers, read "Effortless Wellbeing: The Missing Ingredients for Authentic Wellness" by Evan Finer. That book is amazing and about lots more than just wellness. It will transform your body and mind and life! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! VERY HELPFUL!!
Book Review: Re: "Should be a video" review. Summary: 5 StarsTo the first review submitted...There is a video available, however it is only available at S Factors official website, www.sfactor.com. I ordered the dvd along with the book. It was expensive ($35 + $7 S/H), but I figure this will get me started in the right direction. The book, itself, is a wonderful starting tool for this workout. The dvd is a helpful companion to the book. Myself...I work better with visual instruction rather than written directions, so I find the dvd more helpful. I attended a book signing and workshop in Dallas on February 4, 2004. This class was AMAZING and the author is so very genuine and helpful! Thanks, Sheila, so much for introducing me to the S-Factor! I felt so good after the workout and even on into the next day.
Book Review: This needs to be a video Summary: 4 StarsMost people can't get into a full split or have done years of ballet or yoga in the past. I would reccommend taking some ballet classes and doing some yoga videos or classes along with learning the art of suductive strip tease. Yes, this book can be for every woman. Just as long as every woman is fairly flexible and acrobatic. There are some easy moves in the book; but the problem with a book is that you can't keep glancing over at each picture and direction given and easily do it. It also gets boring if you're learning alone...even if there's music. It takes persistence and discipline just like ballet if you're not a natural at making up your own sexy seductive moves. The pictures in the book, i think, are very cool and I myself wish someday that I could jump up on a pole, turn myself upside down and lower myself just with my ankles in a cat pose. The pictures are hot...hopefully she'll come out with a video to make the learning process easier for us who are eager to learn but somewhat lazy.
