Book Reviews of The Satanic BibleBook Review: "You Are Your own Redeemer" Summary: 5 Stars
The only book that emphasizes the importance of oneself, the importance of indulgence, influencing men to break the Seven Sins, for they are keys to his existence. If humans were strong enough, more would read this book, for it sets men free!
Book Review: . . . Summary: 5 Stars

Book Review: ..and the mob roars Summary: 5 Stars
Anton LaVey simply put years of misconception about Satanism into one easy to read (if the reader has a complete open mind) book. Many people still think of "Satanism" as devil-worship. The one thing that Satanism has in common with Christianity is the many different paths within the same road. "Satanism" is a very broad term. What Anton did with this book is simply clear up a lot of common misconceptions of the term and provide a system of beliefs through years of study and his own life experience. Even in the book itself he does not claim to have come up with an original concept. His point of view has come from many sources. Emerson,Crowley,Thoreau to name a few. What he has done with The Satanic Bible is sum up what he has learned and presented it to the reader from a modern-day logical point of view. What has confused many is why it was called "The Satanic Bible" when all it really is a hedoistic, humanistic and an explanation of the need for fantasy vantage point. As well as calling it a religion with no deity. If the reader remains confused he/she did not use the only thing required to understand what he is talking about and where he is coming from. An open mind.
Book Review: A Colorful and Interesting Point of View Summary: 4 Stars
Anyone who believes in the literal existence of Satan is delusional, just as anyone who believes in the literal existence of God. Both are creations of the human imagination. As such, they are both charged with symbolism. Symbolism is useful, and as ritual is the acting out of symbolism, the rituals presented in this book could be considered useful for those who agree with the philosophy of this book. The philosophy is sound in that it points out the defects of Christianity and its repressive tendencies, and offers a colorful alternative. Readers should make up their own minds. Recommended.
Book Review: A Complete Violation Of The Threefold Law Summary: 5 Stars
This book, The Satanic Bible, is M.LeVay's theo-political manifesto on the Satanic Faith. If the Government -- or the Vatican -- had international book-banning powers, this book would be the first on the list. Although, being a Wiccan High Priest, I do not entirely aggree with all of the precepts in The Satanic Bible, I DO INDEED AGREE with the ideal of personal empowerment that M.LaVey teaches to us. I highly recommend this book to any mature individual who wishes to empower himself or herself. Furthermore, possession of the book is likely to be banned one Day, so the mass distribution of it is likely to preserve the writings of an unquestionably powerful man for generations to come.
