After reading LaVey's works, I've found myself to be a bit of a follower of the examples brought forth by them. Don't be fooled by the scare factor of initial judgments; there's a lot of motivating and believable morals within this book, and even if it's not something you'd find yourself partial to, it's still worth a good read for those of the thinking mind and strong independence of today's world. As a reader, I was more interested in the logic and thought behind LaVey's motives, and from my perspective they're quite sound.
Of a common mind, treat this work as you would a biography with a motivational force. No matter how you look at it, it's worth the time to read no matter what path in life you follow.
