Book Review: Good basics but wrong format

That's a good book to start with if you know nothing about body shapes. I was quite interested in the approach (body measurements and height/weight factors) which is probably the best way to understand how to dress one's own particular shape. However the downside is that you end up with only 4 pages for your particular shape.
It would have been much better if the author had segmented the different body shapes in separate volumes and make further development for each shape. Also the star model given for each shape is not always accurate (mine refers to Laila Ali but her body shape is very far from mine!). Also no consideration is taken regarding the size of breasts or how flat/round your bottom is or long/short torso/legs and these may differ greatly within each shape. Globally the rest of the book has some very good advice and an interesting glossary (illustrating the different type of clothes) and fairly nice illustrations.
