All these practices are essentially Nei Gung.
I am sorry to write a critical review, but I see this kind of abuse and arrogance go on far too much in qigong and yoga teachings these days.
I have asked some of my Tibetan teachers about these practices, and funny, they don't seem to recognize them as mystical Tibetan practices.
The teaching and explanation of the the practices is incomplete at best, and misleading and inaccurate otherwise.
There is nothing that is "ancient" or "secret" about them.
They can be located and traced to health systems practices from China to India, with perhaps slight posture modifications - to make them 'original'.
In fact, many of the exercises are incorrectly taught, with joints locked and too much strength and tension in both the body and the mind!
This is not an expert or integrative teaching here.
And by the way, what exactly is 10,000 years old about this? I don't think so...
There is no collaborating evidence to show or prove this!
The author reveals the gap in his credibility... perhaps more like a void...
Don't believe everything you read just because it is forwarded by a so-called expert!
That being said, practices like these can be beneficial to health and well-being (without the newage mumbo-jumbo), just as doing any good regime of practice or exercise... a good system of Qigong is most likely even better!
