The secret of the rosary has served me as a good book a good purchase I'd recommend for rosary using catholics who want to learn more about the Rosary. Right now the catholic church in the western world is a bit stretched for priests, my parish priest has to look after three churches so its rare to find him in the church (unless its mass) which is a time to busy for him to break it down. but if you're priest is the kind who has bags of time i'd only recommend you to buy the book if you are THAT compelled by the rosary as Grignion de Montfort's book trails off into the supernatural... and if you (like me) are the kind who would usually avoid all this davinche coded christian mythology it may challenge your beliefs and baffle you that such texts are published in gods name. Consequently I had to hunt down my priest in the end as it isn't as straight forward as i hoped!!!
