Book Reviews of The Seeing Stone (The Spiderwick Chronicles, Book 2)

Book Review: THE BEST SO FAR!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

This book was very interesting but the authors(Tony Diterlizzi,Holly Black)could have been a bit more creative.I liked the bit when the goblins started attaching the house when there mum wasn't home. After the goblins heard a call, they went away from the house. The twochildren after that went on a hunt looking for Simon, because he hadn't came back from scool yet. They had too go across this muddy swamp, but there was a muddy wet troll there. The children saw the goblins camping, and they also looked up and saw squashed soda cans and cages. In each cage there was somethng in it.They saw a big cage so they knew it was Simon,so Jared had to climb up the tree very quietly. When he saw Simon he said'are you alright?Jared got his pocket knife out on it,it had a blunt knife,a sharp knife and a screw driver, just what they needed to get Simon out.So Jared used the screw driver to open the cage and get Simon out.So of they went again the all three of them going threw the same thing but backwards.

Book Review: Invinsible Monsters

The Spiderwick
Tony Diterlizzi and
Holly Black

The title of this book is The Spiderwick. The authors are Tony Diterlizzy and Holly Black. This book is very adventureous because there are goblins, fairies, and a swamp monster. This book is about Jared and Mallory trying to save their brother who was kidnapped by some goblins. Jared and Mallory need a stone to see the goblins. The goblins start attacking. Will they save their brother, Simon? This book is appropiate for eight years and older. I would give this book *** because you can go into another world with monsters. I recommend this book for people who like monsters. This book has a hard back cover, its small and has 108 pages. It also has alot of pictures.

Book Review: To read in your free time
Summary: 3 Stars

All you adventurers, if you like books with wierd creatures then this is the book for you. I recommend this book because, somtimes its funny, weird and scary.
This book is about three kids: Jared,Simon and Mallory.
One day Simon went outside . When Jared came back from school he didn't see him. So he told Mallory. A little while later they found an eyepiece. Jared thought it could see things that the eye couldn't see he was right. So they went into the woods to find Simon. Then a little while later they came to a lake. Mallory started into it. When she was halfway there she saw a troll. She swam out and they ran for it! The troll was trying to tell them something so they came back. If you want to find out what the troll was trying to tell and more about their adventures, READ THE BOOK.

Book Review: The Seeing Stone (Book 2)
Summary: 5 Stars

Mallory, Jared, and Simon are back in the second book from Series, "The Spiderwick Chronicles".

After making peace with the brownie who caused the mischief in the first book, the children encounter more mysterious creatures. After being warned that the Field Guide should not be touched, Simon's new cat becomes missing and one of the children gets kidnapped. They find out that they aren't the only ones who know about the Field Guide. The search then begins for the lost sibling. There are many new encounters with different creatures, including a little Hobgoblin named Hogsqueal. But, can he be trusted?

I don't want to give too much away about this second book. I found it to be a great follow-up to a fantastic beginning. These books don't take long to read, but they are full of great imagination, cleverness, and humor. If you love the world of faeries, and folklore, these books are for you. They flow at a fast pace, and you are waiting for what the next page has to offer you.

I definitely recommend this book , but only after you read the first one!
