Book Reviews of The ShackBook Review: Extremely Moving Summary: 5 Stars
This book touches the heart strings like few ever have for me. It literally can bring you through a range of emotions from belly laughs to sobs. While the book has a theological premise, and can get occasionally preachy, the exceptional emotional experience transcends the theological preachyness. If you have a Christian background, this book will likely resonate - but it also is very critical of established church/religion. Some of the emotions may well range to anger if you are a Biblical literalist - but it provokes a lot of thought.
Book Review: Fine product, slow service Summary: 5 Stars
It seemed to take a long time for this item to be shipped. It arrived in fine shape.
Book Review: If you believe in God, you'll enjoy this book. If not, then skip it. Summary: 1 Stars
While I appreciate the writing style of the author and I believe that a lot of care was taken to address a variety of interests, the book was a great deal more religious than I anticipated. I struggled to finish the story. Note: The author captured some very sweet moments for the reader to enjoy.
Book Review: Incredible Summary: 5 Stars
This was my first time reading a "christian" book and let me tell ya it was awesome. Although it was fiction you can't but help to think "well what if it was real". Wm. Young has done such a great job in writing this book that I would recommend it to EVERYONE. It doesn't matter what your belief system is just read it you won't be disappointed.
Book Review: Just read.... Summary: 5 Stars
I found the book comforting and new perspective of looking at religion and how we are taught it. I feel that those who read it, do it with an open mind and like eating at a buffet...take from it what you need.
