Book Review: "Bree" is a really good addition to a great novel
Summary: 5 Stars
First off, I recommend reading Eclipse before you even think of picking up this novella. Otherwise the novella will not make sense at all.
Eclipse was a great book in the series and I was excited to hear that Stephenie would be adding another perspective to an awesome novel. Learning about how newborn vampires perceive their vampire world was really interesting.
Bree only exists in Eclipse for a couple pages before she meets the end of her "short second life". She seems inconsequential because she has such a small part in the Eclipse story, but her perspective made me look at Eclipse differently.
Stephenie keeps Bree's narrative short and sweet because there are only 178 pages, but this is actually the perfect length for a Twilight Saga book. Stephenie doesn't waste time with flowery descriptive words that lengthen her other four books. She gets you right into the action of Bree's dangerous and mysterious life as a vampire.
I read this book in one sitting because it was so enthralling and interesting that I couldn't stop reading! There are a lot of twists, turns and revelations about Stephenie's vampire world as we know it.
I was sad that this great novella had to end, especially because it was the end of Bree's life. But I was glad to see a whole other perspective and thankful that Stephenie gave this narrative to us.
Hopefully Stephenie continues to write more novels/novellas of the other vampire/werewolves so we can be a part of her world more and understand it and enjoy it even more.
Bree's novella is simply a wonderful addition to the entertaining series! I recommend this book to any Twilight Saga reader.
