Book Review: Absolutely gorgeous

I had this book read to me as a child and read it myself as soon as I was able. Maurice Sendak's pictures make me emotional anyway, but as soon as I picked this book up recently (I'm now 26), I was transported back to a time when it was exciting to go to the park, and collect worms, and be allowed to stay up late.The Sign on Rosie's Door is a story about a girl with an overactive imagination who tries to involve her friends in her fantasies, sometimes without success.
It's an innocent, beautifully illustrated, summery book. In fact, I want to cry just thinking about it.
