THIS BOOK WAS FIRST READ TO ME WHEN I WAS ABOUT 9 YEARS OLD,AND I HAVE NEVER FORGOTTEN ABOUT IT, 20 YEARS LATER AND I CAN STILL REMEMBER THE CHILLY ATMOSPHERE THAT THE STORY GAVE ME WHEN READ TO US AT SCHOOL. THIS BOOK HAS BEEN OUT OF PRINT FOR A LONG TIME (I THINK IT WAS FIRST PUBLISHED IN THE MIDDLE '70S AND I WAS OVER THE MOON TO FIND IT BACK AGAIN AS I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND A COPY FOR YEARS. ROBERT C. O'BRIEN IS A CLASSIC CHILDRENS AUTHOR AND THIS STORY IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST! ANYONE WHO HAS READ " MRS FRISBY AND THE RATS OF NIMH" WILL SEE AN AUTHOR OF INCREDIBLE IMAGINATION AND TRULY POWERFUL WRITING-NOT UNLIKE C.S.LEWIS.
