Book Review: "It's The Same Old Song"------Diana bashing
Summary: 4 Stars
A very good read & this one seems to offer DIANA ROSS "dirt" almost from the day she was born! I've got this thing.....if a typo, misprint, incorrect fact is found in a book, I have doubts about the author & all he's researched and written. This one scored rare high points by omitting the incorrect usually printed question mark after WHERE DID OUR LOVE GO.
HOWEVER, not sure it was intentional or not, but long time fan of THE SUPREMES, close friend of FLORENCE BALLARD, former manager of MARY WILSON, author of several Motown books, TONY TURNER was referred to as "Tony Tucker" throughout the book & that should have been corrected. Maybe I shouldn't complain.......TONY could have been tagged TINA TURNER!
Overall, I really enjoyed reading this one...and only wish the pictures selected were not so common, and their printing quality better.
Re: DIANA ROSS "bashing".....well, quite obviously, the LADY had desires/plans/goals/dreams from very early on. I think she reached them all quite SUPREMEly!
