Book Reviews of The Tao of TangoBook Review: Smart and Insightful Summary: 5 Stars
Johanna's words have a way of drawing you into your inner world to discover your own male/female energies. Her words flow smoothly and crisply, and take you on a personal journey into "who you are." There is a very sexy quality to "The Tao of Tango." That comes across from Johanna's very stylish writing, the lessons that she teaches, and her love of the dance. The dance itself is an excellent metaphor that she uses to help men and women get beyond the external forces in the world, into a more spiritual union with the male/female energies that embody each of us. It became very clear to me that, at our core, we own both and we need to embrace both. The book was a great read! Each chapter pulled me into the next, revealing more and more of how the positive dance of life is dependent upon each of us allowing our yin/yang energies to work together in harmony. The "Tao of Tango" is a monumental lesson that needed to be addressed. Everyone needs to dance more smoothly and fluently through life. From the basic steps in life to the more advanced steps, this book can get you started. You will gain more insight and become more balanced internally, which will allow you to let go, connect and have fun. Isn't that the purpose of the dance?

Book Review: Tango & real life Summary: 5 Stars
Nearly every sentence is a deep and profound truth about tango and real-life-relationships. Your concise language expresses very clearly what I always thought but never formulated in such a lucid way. I appreciate your insistence on the difference between energy and its expression through behavior. A wonderful book!
Book Review: Tango as Metaphor for Successful Relationships Summary: 5 Stars
This book is an excellent primer for anyone whose personal relationships often seem like unarmed conflicts. Although I know almost nothing about Tango; this didn't get in the way of an understanding of the fundamental difference between energy and behavior. Being male, the concept of female energy residing within me was something I would prefer to not talk about. This book helped me to understand that this energy exists within all of us, and is important in maintaining a balanced, healthy relationship. In fact, I use this energy on a daily basis. This book has made me more aware of this energy, and thus able to use it most effectively. I also have heightened awareness of others' lack of balance in THEIR lives. I would recommend this book to anyone who expects to have lasting, meaningful relationships
Book Review: Tango dancers will smile with understanding Summary: 5 Stars
A quick read, packed with philosophical and insightful concepts. If you're a tango dancer, this book will speak to you as you compare what she is writing with what you already know. The Tao of Tango will have you nodding your head vigorously, agreeing that what she says is in fact true. Johanna Siegmann's
comparison of female/male energy to tango is a thought provoking, but compelling theory filled with accuracy. I couldn't put this book down .
