this is essentially a dissection of comments made by the master investor. these comments or statements can inevitably be categorized as nuggets of wisdom and the dissections thereof are frequently masterful and of an entertaining nature. before making any sort of investment consulting this book is advisable, even if only to turn to a random page for a quick perusal--somewhat akin to the i ching.
due to this book's non-specific nature, it may not make make the reader money, but it will doubtlessly prevent losses. therefore the book itself is an investment in prudence.

The perfect holiday gift. Buffett's nuggets of wisdom are unsurpassed. I loved this book because every page offers a gem of advice that only the master could come up with. Quite often his wit left me in stitches. Buffett is a national treasure. This is by far one of the best books I've read on him because it so deftly packages his ideas in a breezy, compact form. A great, fast read!

I love this quote book. It was so entertaining and quick to read. Each quote comes with a brief explanation to elaborate on the idea and to give examples of how Warren has carried out the idea in his own investments and life. I found that the quotes really stick in my mind and come back to me days and weeks later. I plan to read this book again and again.Book Review: we've heard it all before
