This book called Thief Lord is an amazing and thrilling book. It is a must read once i started this book i couldn't wait to read it when i got home from school.This book is very exciting and a book that you just can't miss.Cornelia Funke is an amazing author and i would also recomend some of her other books such as Dragon Rider and Ink Heart.I hope this review was helpful to you and enjoy the book.Book Review: Sophies book corner

If you want a gripping read, a thriller and a terrifiying roller coaster of a story, CORNIELIA FUNKE'S THIEF LORD IS FOR YOU!!!
The two characters I like best are Scipio and Morisina, I like Morisina because she is cunning and clever.
The story is about two children, Prosper and his little brother Bo
their mum has died so they have been given to their nasty aunt Esther Hartlieb!!! They run away to Venice where they are befriended by a gang of street children.....!!
Cornelia is a promising talent, the vocabulary she uses is excellent
I recommend this book to 7+ year olds.
