Book Reviews of The Time Traveler's WifeBook Review: A Love Story Like No Other Summary: 5 Stars
Many people had recommended that I read this book, and now that I have read it, I find myself advising those who I come in contact with to read it as well. This book breaks the typical monotonous formulas that are utilized to create love stories, and by doing so has become a piece that not only tells a beautiful story, but does it in a creative way that leaves the reader reflecting on the uniqueness of the story days and weeks later.
In this uniquely written love story, we are introduced to two unforgettable characters, Henry and Clare, who prove that love can truly last a life time and that a couple's love for one another can endure the test of time.
This is a story that you will want to read again and again.
Book Review: A Love Story Of All Ages Summary: 4 Stars
My mother-in-law recommended this book to me and had she not I might not have ever been lucky enough to experience this beautiful story. I am not normally one to read books with "abstract" ideas or plotlines, but this was basically a love story that was so endearing. I really enjoyed the story of Henry and Clare and their love that lasted practically her whole life time. It really is an amazing story.
Book Review: A Lovely Story Summary: 5 Stars
Another reviewer said that she envied anyone who was reading the book for the first time, and those are my feelings exactly. I read it over several weeks just to stretch it out. It is the type of story that appears in your dreams and thoughts months after reading it. The characters are compelling and real, the story complex and extremely well written.
Book Review: A Masterpiece Summary: 5 Stars
No book has affected me this deeply in the last 20 years. A unique metaphor for human life. A classic.
Book Review: A Moving Love Story Summary: 5 Stars
This has to be one of the best books I've ever read! What a fabulous and creative love story. You enter this book and feel as if you're part of their lives -- you're right there with them, and you don't want it to end. Although I've never read a book twice (so many books, so little time), this one may have to be read again.
