Book Review: Entertaining and Inspiring!

This memoir is a precious gift for all to read about Patrick Swayze. I have watched Dirty Dancing more often that I can remember and in that movie Patrick played an all around good guy who discovers how to be caring and loving. As with many of the characters he played, Patrick was passionate and caring in real life as well. The book shares the love story between Patrick his wife, Lisa. The pair were inseparable and stood as one in facing Patrick's health challenges till the very end. A very inspiring and heartfelt reading. If you found Patrick's book inspiring, I also recommend the book by Ariel & Shya Kane's "How to Create a Magical Relationship: The 3 Simple Ideas that Will Instantaneously Transform Your Love Life" and their internet talk show called "Being Here". The Kanes write of how your own life can be a grand adventure, moment by moment.
Both great books, by great authors, write of how life is not to be taken for granted but rather savored and enjoyed.
Book Review: Got To Know The Real Patrick Swayze

I just finished reading this & I was geniunely surprised and inspired by it all at the same time. I always loved Patrick's acting, dancing & singing but I really never felt like I knew much about him as a person. This book changed that. It is well written and it really flowed nicely from chapter to chapter. Patrick was very strong physcially but mentally he had his insecurites like everyone else and life wasn't all peaches and cream for him, but he made the best of things and always tried to keep a positive attitude and do better. His love for Lisa was profound & intense & it sounds like even though they had their share of heartache that they remained true to each other. I strongly recommend this for all Swayze fan's but also people who need hope and inspiration in their lives.Book Review: Great Book

So far this is a really good book. Patrick was such a great guy, and what a terrible loss it was to lose him. It is so neat that him and his wife were able to write this together. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a great heartwarming story.Book Review: Great Read!!

I really enjoyed reading this book about Patrick Swayze. I never realized he had gone through so many difficult times in his life and I am amazed that he lived with the cancer as long as he did. He and his wife's love story is truly inspiring. I think any fan of Patrick Swayze's will enjoy reading this book.Book Review: Great Read!!!

I found this wonderfully reflective book so easy to enjoy. Even though you are well aware of the outcome, I found it so enlightning and honest that I could not put it down.......I wished for more when I had finished, but sadly, there is no more. I did not find it a sad book to read or even to review, anything but!!!!! Patrick doesn't dwell on the cancer but it is interwoven in the story of his life, along with other trials and incidents he had to endure and overcome. A great read, I will read it again one day!
