I thoroughly enjoyed reading The Time of My Life by Patrick Swayze and Lisa Niemi. I had a hard time putting it down! Patrick and Lisa seem to have really put alot of work into this well written book. I've admired Patrick since seeing Dirty Dancing. Now that I've read this book I have a better understanding of the man and of his and Lisa's relationship. It's such a shame that he passed so soon. I'm so glad they wrote this book. "The Time of My Life" is more than an autobiography of Patrick Swayze, it's a story of how one man kept going in life, always trying to be his best in spite of roadblocks. Also this is a story of Mr. Swayze and his wife, how the two of them always had unconditional love for each other in bad times as well as good.

I've always loved Patrick Swayze, so of course I bought the book....The man obviously was very competant - but - like most Hollywood personalities, he was incredibly self absorbed. I once was a Hollywood Wife, so I know the type - and this book was yet another form of chest thumping - even as the man was on deaths door....On the other hand, it was interesting to some degree, although this book will never win any prizes. It's a so-so weekend read.Book Review: Just recieved today..cant put it down!

Having lost my father to pancreatic cancer 8 years ago, I knew how tragic Patrick Swayze's battle would be. This book was wonderful and dealt mostly with his life in show business. What a talented man. Only the last few pages dealt with his terrible diagnosis and it was tastefully written. I would recommend this book for anyone who was a fan of Patrick Swayze. It took a lot of guts to sit down at the end of his life and write this beautiful book.
