This is an amazing book about an amzazing person. I enjoyed every bit of it and admired the courage he had even at his darkest times. His marriage to Lisa is an inspiration and at the same time shows the real struggles of a lasting relationship.Book Review: Loved this book!!

I'm a fellow Texan and have been a fan of Swayze since Ghost (I'm really too young to remember much about his tv and film work before that movie). I loved this book. To be honest the first few chapters seemed really raw and a little disjointed but it got significantly better and I really felt like he was in the room telling this story.
Some people are complaining about the lack of material covering his struggle with cancer but that's not what this book was about it was about his life not his death. He had an incredibly full life and a long passionate relationship with his wife and it was a really good book. If you want to hear about Patrick Swayze's life this is awesome, if you want a tell all where he drops names and gossips about other actors, then you're barking up the wrong tree (not that he would be the type of guy to do that in the first place.)

I read this book in two sittings, and loved it. I loved getting to know Patrick Swayze and his wife so well. What a grand life, and I thank him, his wife and family for sharing, and being an inspiration.
