It's not often I buy a book on impulse however having caught a 5 second glimpse of this book on the channel 4 news I decided to get on the Web immediately and order it. Full of expectation and anticipation I began reading and 4 days later I woke up. The book starts with some very interesting anecdotes to paint a very tangible picture of what the rest of the book is all about. I'm sure there are many counter arguments to the ones proposed by the author however I for one buy into what he says and can identify with many of the principles outlined. I am now about to order another 3 copies of the book for my collegues. So I suppose I am starting my own little "Epidemic"Book Review: A brilliant book with fascinating analysis of social trends

Gladwell desribes how trends - social & medical - spread. This is a very important account for anyone interested in preventing medical viruses from spreading or, as in the case of our charity, actively wanting to raise public awareness. And for people not specifically needing to achieve either of these things, it's simply an absorbing, wonderfully written book.Book Review: This is how it Really Happens

This books shows the way in which ideas spread through society, pretty similar the the way in which a virus spread in a population. This can be applied to any idea, way of behaviour, piece of information, and so on.Gladwell writes well, and, even if you don't agree with some of his opinions, the book is interesting and worth to read through.
