Book Review: Eddings not quite up to scratch
Summary: 2 Stars
Personally I'm not really a huge fan of this set of the Eddings latest series. Although many others will be able to draw parallells with other characters that have appeared in previous novels I was really hoping for something more in the vein of the two Sparhawk trilogies and as such did feel a little disappointed with what I felt were inferior character offerings. That said the tale does move along at a fair pace and the descriptive work and situations to which the Eddings are known for throwing their characters into appear with their usual pace which does keep the reader guessing as to the outcome and how it will effect the greater picture.
