Book Reviews of The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook: Your Self-Treatment Guide for Pain Relief, Second Edition

Book Review: A Must Buy Book For Anyone With Fibromyalgia !
Summary: 5 Stars

The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook is an easy to read, informative book that will help you to locate your trigger points (painful tender areas which refer pain to other parts of your body) and show you how to ease them using massage. Several massage tools are discussed but it also shows you how results are just as easily achieved using your hands or a tennis ball. As someone who has both Fibromyalgia and Myofascial Pain Syndrome, I wouldn't be without this book. It has taught me how to quickly and easily locate and massage my trigger points and has allowed me to finally gain some relief from my chronic pain. You owe it to yourself - and your body - to buy this book!

Book Review: Get your life back
Summary: 5 Stars

This book helped me get my life back whilst suffering from RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury).
Up until trying this book, I had tried almost everything with no success. Sound familiar ?
The book details how trigger points can refer pain to other parts of the body. Like my scalene (neck muscle) caused pain in my forearms and shoulders. If you suffer from RSI and feel you've hit a brick wall, then buy this book.

Book Review: A "must have" first aid book
Summary: 5 Stars

The author of this book really knows his stuff. I never knew about referral pain and pressure points until I got this book. It has helped me to sort out a neck problem, helped a friend with a chronic lower back problem, someone else with an acute arm pain, a collapsing knee, the list goes on. The trigger points desribed and illustrated in the book are very accurate. If you have joint or muscle pain, you need this book.

Book Review: Buy this book!
Summary: 5 Stars

As a professional dancer with a history of injuries (knee, back, ankle, shoulder...the list goes on)I've spent years trying various forms of treatments ranging from useless to effective. I have found this book to be immensely helpful and am positive that most of my injuries would have been avoided if I had this book when I started dancing. As well as the treatment of dancing related injuries, it has also been very effective in getting rid of my headaches which I had not realised were from trigger points in my trapezius muscles. If you are in pain buy this book, if you're not buy it anyway because at some point you will be or just buy it to help someone you know.

Book Review: A really useful book for self help and client treatment
Summary: 5 Stars

As soon as I got this book I started treating my partner and found the trigger points which caused his migraines and Sciatica. I foresee some long term work on him as he seems to be a mass of trigger points. If you suffer any sort of chronic pain, buy this book and help yourself
