Book Review: Continuing Disappointment
Summary: 2 Stars
I discovered the author through Captains Outrageous and thought where has this author been all my life. It turns out he has been busy writing mediocre books. This is a drawn out tale about the pair being in the middle of a racist town investigating a racist murder for most of the book. They finally get to the bottom of things as a flood comes along and washes away all the bad guys and the evidence of our pairs extrajudicial efforts. For about 20-30 pages toward the end after the heros get beaten up the old byplay resurfaces but it doesn't last. It's just a reminder of what the author could do when he was on his game. I see comedy is an option for a tag for this review. They must be kidding.
