Book Review: Freaks should hang out with their own kind?!?

There are a lot of great things about this book. The art, the rhymes, the holiday fun.
But the bottom line is the message. The original Ugly Duckling had a everyone has beauty inside message. This one has the message that Freaks should hang out with thier own kind.
Seems very problematic and I am not sure there was any good way for the author to work around that.
But I am sure that between the editor at the publishing house and the author, they really came no where close to over thinking the concept.
